Dear Fleming Countians,

As we conclude Mid-term One on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, we encourage you to review your child's progress in Infinite Campus (IC). Our teachers are updating gradebooks to provide accurate, complete information about what your child is learning, where they are making progress, and where additional support may be needed.

When you open your child's gradebook, you should be able to see:

  • Current grades and clearly identified missing work. Grades should reflect your child's demonstrated learning, with missing or incomplete assignments clearly marked.
  • The assignments and assessments behind the grades. You should have access to the tasks used to determine grades, along with directions, scoring guides, or proficiency scales that explain the learning expectations.
  • Links you can open. Linked assignments and assessments, including Google files, should be accessible to parents and guardians while protecting student information. If a link will not open, please get in touch with your child's teacher for help or an accessible copy.

Grades should never be guesses. You deserve to understand both your child's grade and the learning it represents. Reviewing this information together can help you celebrate progress, discuss challenges, and identify questions to ask your child's teacher.

This commitment is central to our district's local accountability model, which helps us understand and improve how well we are serving every learner. For families, that means clear learning expectations, meaningful examples of student learning, and open communication about progress and next steps.

Your partnership matters. If a grade is unclear, an assignment is not accessible, or you have concerns about your child's progress, please reach out to their teacher(s). Together, we can identify the support your child needs to keep learning and growing.
